Lena Elster: What does photography represent to you? Was bedeutet Fotografie für Sie? Fran May: Photography represents to me life – recording of life. It’s the best medium that we have to record life on earth. Fotografie symbolisiert Leben für mich – das Dokumentieren von Leben. Fran May: It started when I was doing a painting degree and I had to do a small course on photography as a part of that.
